Caring for a matte-painted or wrapped vehicle is the supreme discipline of car care. Conventional cleaning and care products are abrasive and destroy the silky matte surface. Classic polishes are out of the question, as they would bring the matte texture to a shine.
With the Opaque range, Swissvax has developed the world's first and complete care range for matte paints and matte wraps – originally in cooperation with Lamborghini. The range guarantees that matte surfaces stay matte while achieving maximum paint protection. From car shampoo, pre-cleaner and specialist wax to detailing spray and spray ceramic – everything for perfect matte paint care, coordinated with each other.
Matte paint care step by step
Car Bath Opaque is the car shampoo for matte paints – without the optical brighteners and gloss enhancers found in normal car shampoos. Dissolve sparingly in the wash water and wash the vehicle from the roof down with the Waschpudel Fine. Then dry with the Ultra-Dry.
With Pre-Cleaner Opaque comes the deep cleaning that prepares the surface for the wax treatment. Spray on and wipe off with the Micro-Absorb pink.
The Opaque Carnauba wax is the perfect sealant for matte paints. Once cured, it protects against micro-scratches and prevents rapid re-soiling. Apply with the Hand Puck red or the Schwammapplikator and buff off with the Micro-Fluffy. Work on body panels individually and in small sections.
The Quick Finish Opaque detailing spray, combined with the Micro-Polish blue, is perfect for removing fingerprints and small irritations. To refresh the matte paint treatment, we recommend Lotos Speed – spray on, spread with the Micro-Fluffy and dry.
