Carat is the carnauba wax with the highest carnauba and PTFE content (Teflon) that Swissvax produces – and the latest creation from our manufactory. 81 vol.% natural carnauba wax, combined with maximum PTFE content, delivers a finish that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of gloss, depth and durability.

The result lasts 9 to 12 months: during this time, Carat protects the paint against UV radiation, dirt and environmental influences without altering the character of the colour. The PTFE content also ensures that water and dirt particles find almost no purchase on the sealed surface.

Carat is applied exclusively by hand – machine application is neither necessary nor recommended. The wax's unique scent is reminiscent of a deep stone cave in the forest: fresh and cool, with mineral notes evoking the clarity and hardness of gemstones.

Suitable for all gloss paints – especially for sports cars, collection vehicles and concours cars where the finish takes centre stage.
